Member of the Spanish Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs’ Expert Committee for the monitoring plan of the PICI-Plan Integral de la Cardiopatía Isquémica (Integrated Plan for Ischaemic Cardiopathy).

In the field of teaching, Dr. Gómez Doblas is Tutor for Cardiology Medical Intern Residents at Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital. Winner of the Pfizer Cátedra award for Clinical Management in 2007. Principal investigator or co-researcher in 10 projects funded by different organizations, he is also author of numerous scientific articles. He has also presented over 150 conference papers and lectures at national and international conferences.
