Dr. Muñoz has a degree in Medicine from the University of Malaga and is a Specialist in Cardiology. He is an active member of both the Sociedad Española de Cardiología and the European Society of Cardiology. He works in the Heart Area of Xanit International hospital and in the Heart Area at Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital, where he works in the Hemodynamics Units.

In the field of research he has contributed to various publications and frequently presents papers at international cardiology conferences, fundamentally in the areas of electrophysiology and arrhythmias

The Arrhythmias Unit of the Heart Area cares for patients with heart rhythm disorders. It is divided into two specific areas.

Marfan Unit

ICTA has the first Marfan unit set up in the private health sector in Spain: we diagnose, follow-up and treat Marfan syndrome patients.

Cardiac Surgery

Modern Cardiac Surgery: coronary surgery with and without extracorporeal circulation, conventional valve surgery, etc.
