Dr. López Salguero holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada. He is a Specialist in Cardiology and completed his medical intern residency in Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital, Malaga. He holds the accredited status of expert recognised by the Agencia de Calidad Sanitaria de Andalucía (Andalusian Health Quality Agency).

Member of the European Society of Cardiology. Member of the Sociedad Española de Cardiología. Member of the Spanish Society of Cardiology’s working group on cardiac imaging. Member of the Sociedad Andaluza de Cardiología. Dr. López Salguero works as area specialist in Antequera Hospital and as a member of the Clinical Cardiology Unit of Xanit International Hospital, Benalmadena, where he is the cardiologist in charge of the cardiac magnetic resonance unit. He is the author of chapters of books and has had articles published in specialist journals, in addition to having participated in various international clinical trials.
